Founder

Since his childhood in Dar es Salaam, Chris has cultivated a passionate appreciation for the natural world and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities unique to Tanzania. Throughout his storied career as a high-end furniture designer and architect in the USA, he developed a spirit of constant growth and innovation that has now expanded to a variety of high impact ventures in Africa. The SeedBomb project represents his massive commitment to the conservation and revitalization of an area of Tanzania he is now exceedingly proud to call home.

Hon. Asia Halamga

Youth and Women's Coordinator

Asia is a highly respected member of parliament representing youth in the United Republic of Tanzania. Growing up in Hanang District, Asia experienced firsthand how local life in rural areas is highly dependent on environmental factors. She is passionate about supporting local communities to become more resilient through responsible land management and nature conservation. With SeedBombs, Asia found an ideal opportunity to leverage her strong connections in the education sector to advocate for our environmental club training programs.

Jessica Mshama

International Outreach Coordinator

As an East African Community Ambassador, Jessica collaborates closely with women and youth in the region to effectively integrate their concerns into policy based solutions. The people-centric approach of SeedBombs aligns with her own values of promoting health and happiness for her constituents. As such, she is responsible for expanding our efforts to impact lives through the provision of climate resiliency solutions in East Africa and beyond.

Micaela Tucker

Managing Director

Micaela Tucker is the managing director of Ubora Africa Foundation, a non-profit in the USA as well as a registered NGO in Tanzania. She is a recent graduate from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Studies and a long history of community service and volunteering. Inspired by her love of the natural world, Micaela aims to create meaningful change in Tanzania by supporting reforestation and spreading her knowledge of environmental curriculum. Through SeedBombs, Micaela aims to inspire young minds to take action against environmental degradation and reinforce the strong existing legacy of conservation in Tanzania.

Dominick Duncan

Community Outreach Coordinator

Dominick works closely with the community in the Hanang’ District to ensure that everyone’s rights are being represented. As a Human Rights Advocate, he has served his community for over 15 years and hopes to continue this legacy by working with Seed Bombs Tanzania. Passionate about the environment and his community, Dominick works to ensure partnerships with schools in the district and manages communication between community members, our organization, and local government.
